The invention provides a rear vehicle collision early warning method, device and equipment and a medium, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining a plurality of rear vehicle images collected by a rear-view camera installed on a current vehicle for each preset time period, and determining a target vehicle type corresponding to the rear vehicle through the rear vehicle images; based on the license plate area of the rear vehicle in each rear vehicle image and the target vehicle type, determining the relative distance between the rear vehicle and the current vehicle within the preset time period; determining a relative vehicle speed curve between the rear vehicle and the current vehicle by using relative distances corresponding to a plurality of preset time periods; and collision risk detection is performed on the rear vehicle based on the relative vehicle speed curve, and an alarm is given if the collision risk is detected. By means of the method and device, behaviors of the rear vehicle are monitored in real time, accidents and losses caused by rear-end collision of the rear vehicle are reduced, and more comprehensive safety guarantee is provided for a driver.

    本申请提供了一种后方车辆碰撞预警方法、装置、设备及介质,所述方法包括:针对于每个预设时间段,获取安装在当前车辆的后视摄像机采集到的多张后车图像,并通过所述后车图像确定出后方车辆对应的目标车辆类型;基于每张后车图像中所述后方车辆的车牌面积以及所述目标车辆类型,确定该预设时间段内所述后方车辆与所述当前车辆之间的相对距离;利用多个预设时间段对应的相对距离确定所述后方车辆与所述当前车辆之间的相对车速曲线;基于所述相对车速曲线对所述后方车辆进行碰撞风险检测,若检测到存在碰撞风险则进行报警。通过所述方法及装置,实时监测后方车辆的行为,减少因后车追尾造成的事故和损失,为驾驶者提供更全面的安全保障。
