The invention relates to the technical field of pedestrian safety protection, and discloses a pedestrian safety device which comprises a camera used for acquiring image information of a rear coming vehicle in real time; the radar is used for detecting the distance, the speed and the direction of a rear coming vehicle; the vibration device is used for providing a vibration warning for a wearer when the approaching of a rear vehicle is detected; the sound prompting device is used for providing a sound alarm for the wearer when the approaching of the rear vehicle is detected; and the narrowband communication module is used for sending alarm information to surrounding vehicles or traffic systems when the rear coming vehicle approaches. According to the invention, a multi-sensor fusion technology is adopted, and equipment such as a camera, a radar and a GPS are combined to obtain information of a rear coming vehicle in real time, so that high-precision collision risk prediction is achieved; compared with a scheme which only depends on a single sensor in the prior art, the method solves the problem that the error of the single sensor is large, and improves the stability and accuracy of the pedestrian safety device in a complex environment.
