The charging pile control method comprises the following steps: acquiring geographical location information and current time information of a charging pile; selecting a corresponding charging mode based on a preset strategy according to the geographical location information and the current time information of the charging pile; and generating a corresponding charging instruction according to the selected charging mode so as to execute the charging mode for charging. According to the technical scheme, the charging mode corresponding to the charging pile is selected based on the preset strategy according to the geographic position information and the current time information of the charging pile, and then the corresponding charging instruction is generated according to the selected charging mode so as to execute the corresponding charging mode to charge the vehicle. The matching degree between the mode selection of the charging pile and the actual demand is optimized, the user operation complexity is reduced, and the charging efficiency and the user experience are improved.
