The present disclosure relates to a method for determining a risk of collision of a vehicle, the method comprising: determining a speed of a first vehicle; determining collision time between the first vehicle and a second vehicle; if the speed of the first vehicle is greater than a speed threshold value, comparing the collision time with a first collision time threshold value to judge whether a collision risk exists or not; if the speed of the first vehicle is smaller than a speed threshold value, the collision time is compared with a second collision time threshold value to judge whether the collision risk exists or not, and the second collision time threshold value is smaller than the first collision time threshold value. In addition, the invention also relates to a collision risk determination system for the vehicle.
