The device has a rigid structure (8) and a front aerodynamic structure (24) that is mounted on the structure (8) via a mounting unit. The mounting unit comprises two connecting rods (32) placed in a symmetric manner with respect to a vertical median plane of the device, parallel to a longitudinal direction (X) of the device. A lower end of each rod is connected to an upper spar of the structure (8) and an upper end of each rod is connected in an articulated manner to a lower spar of the structure (24). The rods are designed such that their lengths are adjustable.
