The trap has a propellant gas serving as a conveying medium, and an arrangement for separation of the gas from a liquid fuel. Guide plates are provided in a rotationally symmetrical collecting container and are arranged radially in a region of an outer wall e.g. half-spherical shell (3), cylindrical shell (4) and conical shell (5), of the container. A gas separator tapers conically toward an outlet pipe (2) of the container and includes passage holes. Screens are arranged between the separator and the pipe. The separator and the screens are arranged close to an outlet region of the container.
