The charging station has an interface element (1) connected to one end of a loading section (2) and motor vehicle. An interface element (4) in vehicle is connected between another end of the loading section and a data network of the motor vehicle. One transmission channel for data communication in both directions is formed by the interface elements and the loading section. The transmission processes of home network and data network of motor vehicle are identical. The optical transmission path is formed using glass fiber or polymer fiber.
