The invention relates to a tyre, the tread of which comprises a rubber composition containing at least one diene elastomer, such as natural rubber and/or a polybutadiene, more than 30 phr of a liquid plasticiser, 50 to 150 phr of a non-black reinforcing filler, such as silica, optionally less than 3 phr carbon black, 5 to 50 phr of a photocrosslinkable liquid polymer resin, such as a poly(butadiene-acrylate) or poly(butadiene-methacrylate) resin, and 2 to 60 phr microparticles of water-soluble metal salt, such as potassium or magnesium sulphate. Such a rubber composition offers excellent tyre grip on both cold ice and melting ice.
