To provide a step structure for a saddle riding type vehicle which step structure makes it possible to select footrest positions according to the constitution, the length of legs, or the like of an occupant. A step structure (20) is provided to a left and a right of a saddle riding type vehicle (1), the step structure (20) including: a base portion (30) supported by a vehicle body (10), the base portion (30) forming a whole or part of a first footrest portion (21); and a movable portion (40) rotatably coupled to the base portion (30), the movable portion (40) being capable of assuming a first position (P1) and a second position (P2) by rotation relative to the base portion (30), and forming a second footrest portion (22) at a position different from the first footrest portion (21) when the movable portion (40) is at the second position (P2).
