The invention relates to a method for producing a fiber-composite plastic component having a force application structure (5), wherein a supporting sheet part (1), in particular an organic sheet part, is placed as an insert into a mold chamber of an injection-molding tool reproducing the negative mold of the plastic component, in such a way that a partial chamber (39) of the injection-molding tool reproducing the negative mold of the force-application structure (5) is left free, and a fiber-reinforced plastic material (15, 17) is injected into the free partial chamber in an injection step for forming the force-application structure (5). According to the invention, in order to increase the component stiffness and component strength of the force application structure (5), a metal insert (9) is placed into the still free partial chamber (39) before the performance of the injection step and is overmolded with the plastic material (15, 17) in the injection step.
