The invention relates to a movement system (18) comprising a slow-down device (19) intended for arrangement in a station of the aerial transport facility and designed to slow down cabins (5), decoupled from a pull cable of the aerial transport facility, along a slow-down trajectory (TR), said slow-down device (19) comprising: at least one first slow-down belt (21) and a second slow-down belt (22), the first slow-down belt (21) being designed to cooperate with and slow down a cabin (5) along a first part (TR1) of the slow-down trajectory (TR), and the second slow-down belt (22) being designed to cooperate with and slow down a cabin (5) along a second part (TR2) of the slow-down trajectory (TR); a first drive device (29) designed to drive the first slow-down belt (21) at a first variable travelling speed; and a second drive device (31) designed to drive the second slow-down belt (22) at a second variable travelling speed.
