Wireless information and power is transferred simultaneously from a first device (304) as the first device (304) moves. A set (100) of first coils (102) for fitting to a first device (304) interacts with a set (200) of second coils (202). At least some of the coils (102) in the set (100) of first coils (102) have magnetic cores (104) to enable power transfer by magnetic induction as the magnetic cores (104) of the set (100) of first coils (102) move relative to a said set (200) of second coils (202). A controller is configured to enable each coil (102) in the set (100) of first coils (102) to be selectively powered as the set (100) of first coils (102) move relative to a said set (200) of second coils (202) in order to enable transmission of information to a said set (200) of second coils (202).
