A cargo handling system is disclosed. In various embodiments, the cargo handling system includes a power drive unit (110, 210) having a drive roller (108, 208) configured to impart movement to a unit load device; a first restraint (114, 214); and a first sensor (219) configured to detect movement of the unit load device with respect to a parked location following deployment of the first restraint and activation of the drive roller.
