In one aspect, the present disclosure provides a fluid contactor (1) comprisinga. a frame (2) comprising a first side (3) and a second side (4) at a distance opposite the first side (3);b. at least one microporous hollow fiber membrane (5) having a first end (6) and a second end (7), wherein the first end (6) of the at least one microporous hollow fiber membrane (5) is located in the first side (3) of the frame (2) and the second end (7) of the at least one microporous hollow fiber membrane is located in the second side (4) of the frame (2); wherein the first and second ends (6, 7) of the at least one microporous hollow fiber membrane (5) are fixed in the first and second sides (3, 4) of the frame (2) with at least one potting (8) of the first and second ends (6, 7) of the at least one microporous hollow fiber membrane (5);c. an at least one first fluid support pipe (9) located in the first side (3) of the frame (2) and being in fluid connection with the first end (6) of the at least one microporous hollow fiber membrane (5), and an at least one second fluid support pipe (10) located in the second side (4) of the frame (2) and being in fluid connection with the second end (7) of the at least one microporous hollow fiber membrane (5),whereinthe frame (2) and the potting (8) are made of the same material.
