The present invention relates to a weapon launch system (10) for a submersible vessel, comprising at least one electric actuator capable of performing a series of mechanical actions on a weapon launch tube, actuating means (14) for actuating the electric actuator (12), a remote control station (61) capable of controlling the operation of the actuating means (14) remotely via a computer network (56) in a nominal operating mode of the system (10), and a local control panel (63) capable of controlling the operation of the actuating means (14) locally via a direct control link (66) in an impaired operating mode of the system (10).
