An uplock system (10) includes a cam plate (14) comprising a cam channel (18), a hook (12) configured to rotate with respect to the cam plate (14), a follower (16) rotatably coupled to the hook (12), wherein a portion of the follower (16) moves within the cam channel (18) in response to rotation of the hook (12), a stopper (20) configured to engage the follower (16), and a first biasing member (22) configured to bias the stopper (20) towards the follower (16) to stop the follower (16) from moving within the cam channel (18), thereby locking the hook (12) in a locked position.
