The invention relates to a device (30) for processing orbital data, which is configured to be in communication with space listening sensors (24, 26, 28); the processing device (30) comprising a computing unit (31) configured to determine a list of orbital parameters of a satellite (18) observed N separate times so as to produce N lists of orbital parameters of the satellite (18), in order to determine an orbital trajectory time function for each of the N lists of orbital parameters of the satellite (18) observed so as to obtain N orbital trajectory time functions and to determine the change in the orbit of the satellite (18) over time which is observed according to the deviations between the N orbital trajectory time functions determined.
