The invention relates to a method for erecting a wind power plant comprising a tower (5) and a nacelle (6) rotatably arranged on the tower (5), wherein the tower (5) comprises a lower lattice structure (1), a transition piece (2) and an upper cylinder (3), the transition piece (2) connecting the upper cylinder (3) to the lattice structure (1), the lattice structure (1) having at least three corner posts (1.1) which are inclined toward each other at an angle relative to the vertical (V) of the lattice structure (1) and which define at their lower ends corner points relative to the vertical (V) that span a ground area, cross members (1.2) and/or diagonal members (1.3), and, one after the other, the lattice structure (1) is mounted first, the transition piece (2) is mounted on the lattice structure (1), the cylinder (3) is mounted on the transition piece (2) and the nacelle is mounted on the cylinder (3). According to the invention, to erect the wind power plant, a rotary tower crane (10) is provided and is positioned and erected within the ground area spanned by the corner points of the corner posts (1.1).
