A prediction method and apparatus (100, 800, and 900) for an autonomous driving manual takeover, and a system are provided. The method includes: A first vehicle sends a first message to a second vehicle when detecting that the first vehicle has a manual takeover requirement, where the first message includes information about a first location of the first vehicle, and the information about the first location is used to indicate a location of the first vehicle when the first vehicle detects that the first vehicle has the manual takeover requirement (S201). After receiving the first message, the second vehicle may notify a driver of the second vehicle in advance that the vehicle may need to be manually taken over at the first location, so that the driver can get ready to take over the vehicle in advance, thereby improving vehicle driving safety (S202).
