The invention relates to a structure of a stern (1-Fig. 4) of a vessel, comprising a fixed part (6-Fig. 4) configured as a stern portion of said vessel and, comprising a first fixed deck portion (2-Fig. 4), and a movable second deck portion (3-Fig. 4),a. wherein the second deck portion (3-Fig. 4) is pivotally connected to the transom (4-Fig. 4), which in turn at its base is pivotally connected to the fixed part (6-Fig. 4) of the vessel,b. wherein the transom (4-Fig. 4) may be pivotally folded away to a horizontal position either together with said movable second deck portion (3-Fig. 4) or separate of said second deck portion depending on whether the connection between the movable second deck portion (3-Fig. 4) and the transom (4-Fig. 4) is in place or not in place,c. wherein if both transom (4-Fig. 4) and moveable second deck portion (3-Fig. 4) are lowered together, they form a large platform (Fig. 5), andd. wherein the one or more hinges connecting the second deck portion (3-Fig. 4) transom (4-Fig. 4) is an actuator hinge.
