In this application, a calendar day may be divided into a plurality of time periods. When a terminal that newly enters prepares to be charged in a first charging area in a plurality of charging areas in a first time period in a plurality of time periods and the charging station does not have an allocable power in the first time period, a charging power of each terminal in the charging station may be reallocated based on an actually used power of the first charging area in the first time period and a preset power allocation ratio of the plurality of charging areas.
