The invention relates to a method for controlling a thermal conditioning system for a motor vehicle, including: a refrigerant circuit including in succession: a compressor, a two-fluid exchanger, a first expansion device positioned upstream of a first heat exchanger thermally coupled to an element of an electric drive train of the vehicle, a heat transfer liquid circuit including a second heat exchanger configured to exchange heat with an air stream inside a passenger compartment of the vehicle, the method including: i—determining an ambient temperature, ii—If the ambient temperature is less than a minimum temperature threshold: iii1—circulating refrigerant in succession in the compressor, in the two-fluid exchanger, and then in the first heat exchanger, iii2—circulating heat transfer liquid in the two-fluid exchanger, in the first heat exchanger, and in the second heat exchanger.
