Thresholds for flooring in an aircraft are described herein. An example aircraft includes a subfloor (302), first flooring material (304) on the subfloor, second flooring material (306) on the subfloor, and a threshold (200) at least partially between the first flooring material (304) and the second flooring material (306). The threshold includes a vertical body portion (202) having a top surface (206), a bottom surface (208), a first side surface (210), and a second side surface (212). The vertical body portion has a concave area (214) extending into the second side surface (212) at the bottom surface, and wherein the second edge (320) of the second flooring material extends into the concave area. The threshold also includes a ramp portion (204) extending from the first side surface (210). The ramp portion (204) has a decreasing thickness from the vertical body portion (202) to a distal end (224) of the ramp portion. The ramp portion (204) is positioned between a portion of the first flooring material (304) and the subfloor (302).
