The invention relates to a method for assisting the movement of a connected vehicle (V) that is capable of travelling on a road network and communicating via a communications network (N) having a variable network coverage level, the method being characterised in that it comprises, upon approaching a zone (Z) having a network coverage level lower than a given level, a step of pre-emptively transmitting at least one piece of information relating to the driving instructions intended for the connected vehicle (V) in the related zone (Z).
