So that, in the case of a hanging-bag warehouse (1) having a large number of autonomously or at least partially autonomously movable hanging bags, it is possible for these hanging bags, in particular up to 1.5 million of them, to be addressed individually, with the smallest possible transmission-power density and the highest possible data rate, in particular so as to coordinate the multiplicity of autonomously movable hanging bags (5) present in the hanging-bag warehouse (1), preferably so as to control flows of goods accommodated in the hanging bags (5) with the lowest possible outlay, the hanging-bag warehouse (1) has a control device (25), by means of which the hanging-bag warehouse (1) can be controlled and/or monitored, also has a first communication arrangement (201), by means of which it is possible to set up a communication pathway A between the control device (25) and an addressee (215), such as any desired individual one of the hanging bags (5), and additionally has a second communication arrangement (203), by means of which it is possible to set up a further communication pathway B between the control device (25) and the addressee (215), the further communication pathway B being independent of the communication pathway A.
