A charging terminal includes: a charging gun (1) provided with a liquid inlet pipe (145) and a liquid return pipe (142) therein; a heat dissipation device (2) provided with an inlet and an outlet, where the inlet is connected to the liquid return pipe (142) via a pipeline; a fan (3) electrically connected to the heat dissipation device (2); a storage device (4) connected to the outlet of the heat dissipation device (2) via a pipeline and configured to store a cooling medium; a conveying device (6) connected to the storage device (4) via a pipeline and configured to convey the cooling medium in the storage device (4) to the liquid inlet pipe (145); and a control device configured to control the fan (3) and the conveying device (6), to enable the cooling medium to dissipate heat from the charging gun (1), so that a continuous current of the charging terminal for charging a target vehicle is greater than 600 amperes.
