The invention relates to a chassis (1), suitable for use in electric vehicles, characterized in that it comprises: a substantially planar loading bed (1'), suitable for receiving a load on top of same, which is located between at least two front wheels (2', 2") and at least one rear wheel (2) of an electric vehicle; wherein said loading bed (1') comprises a channel (8) and the chassis (1) also comprises a central shaft (9) housed in said channel (8); wherein the loading bed (1') is connected so as to pivot relative to said central shaft (9); wherein the loading bed (1') comprises a plurality of battery housings (13) distributed symmetrically; and the chassis (1) comprises a rear traction and steering assembly (15) and a front suspension and inclination assembly (16). The invention likewise relates to an electric vehicle comprising said chassis (1).
