The invention relates to producing a panel with cross stiffening (10) having a high resistance to deformation, by implementing production steps without assembly or attachment. To achieve this, according to the invention such a panel (10) is produced from elements prepared by implementing friction stir welding steps. A panel with cross stiffening (10) according to the invention comprises cross members (2) arranged along a first direction (D), friction stir welded, edge to edge, to the panel (10) arranged between two cross members (2). Said panel with cross stiffening (10) also comprises ribs (6) in a succession of mouse holes cut beforehand in the cross members (2) and aligned along a direction (E) perpendicular to the first direction (D). The ribs (6) are welded to the first face (1f) of the panel (10) by friction stir welding transparently from a second face (11) of the elementary panel (10) opposite the first face (1f).
