A plurality of hydraulic jacks 1 fixed to the chassis of a vehicle 6, able to be automatically deployed 11 when needed using control switches 7 inside the vehicle. The jacks are stored in a horizontal position 10 when not in use. The electrical control panel is locked with a security code or key. There are hydraulic outlet valves mounted on the vehicle for connecting hydraulic tools, and further control switches located close to the vehicle wheels for minor adjustments of the jacks. A hydraulic system also controls the release of a bracket holding the spare wheel of the vehicle. In another embodiment, the system may be entirely electrical, or a combination of hydraulic and electric. The jacks are intended for use when changing a wheel on a vehicle, but may also be used to lift up the vehicle when it is parked, as a security measure.
