An image correction system 300 comprises one or more controllers 120 configured to receive first and second image data 141,142 from respective first and second imaging apparatuses (e.g. cameras) 111,112 each comprising a respective pixel array configured to operate with a respective, different exposure time. The first image data indicative of an environment and the second image data indicative of at least a portion of the environment. Strobed lighting regions on the first and second image data are identified; corrected image data for mitigating image flicker of the strobed lighting regions in the first image data is determined based on the correspondence between the first and second image data. The corrected image data is then output as a signal. The system may be associated with a vehicle and be used to correct strobed light emitting diode (LED) lighting from headlamps, traffic lights or traffic signs.
