PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep an axial length along a rotation axis of a second rotary electrical machine short while securing a prescribed gear reduction ratio.SOLUTION: A vehicular drive device 1 with a double-shaft constitution includes a differential gear unit 20, a first rotary electrical machine 30, a second rotary electrical machine 40, and an output unit 70. Among three rotation elements 21-23 of the differential gear unit 20, the rotation element 23 being the middle in the order of rotation speed is connected to the output unit 70 in a driving manner. A drive transmission mechanism 50 transmitting driving force between the differential gear unit 20 and the output unit 70 is constituted by an idler gear 51 consisting of one tooth.

    【課題】所定の減速比を確保しつつ、第二回転電機の回転軸心に沿った軸方向長さを短く抑える。【解決手段】本発明は、差動歯車装置20と、第一回転電機30と、第二回転電機40と、出力装置70とを備える複軸構成の車両用駆動装置1に関する。差動歯車装置20の3つの回転要素21〜23のうち、回転速度の順で中間となる回転要素23が出力装置70に駆動連結されている。差動歯車装置20と出力装置70との間で駆動力を伝達する駆動伝達機構50が、一枚歯からなるアイドラギヤ51で構成されている。【選択図】図1
