PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wirelessly communication system and method for communicating between a host bus of a spacecraft and a secondary payload without the need for a wire harness.SOLUTION: A host bus 20 and a secondary payload 40 each include a wireless interface 50 for establishing a radio or optical communication link to exchange information between their data inputs/outputs 52, 54, thereby allowing elimination of a complex wiring harness connected between the host bus and the secondary payload.
