PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power charging device and a power storage device capable of suppressing heat generation, noise generation, and so on.SOLUTION: In a power storage device 2, a power charging device 10 charges a storage unit 20 by stepping up or down a power source voltage of a power source 1 in a step up/down circuit 11 to output the power source voltage to the storage unit 20. The power charging device 10 stops an operation of the step up/down circuit 11 when detecting that the power storage unit 20 is charged full, and restarts the operation of the step up/down circuit 11 to charge the power storage unit 20 again when a voltage of the power storage unit 20 is lowered to be no more than a first threshold voltage Va. Further, the power charging device 10 acquires a temperature of the power storage unit 20 or a periphery thereof detected by a temperature detecting unit 22, and changes the first threshold Va and an operation frequency of the step up/down circuit 11 according to the acquired temperature. For example, the first threshold voltage Va is set to be lower as the temperature is higher, and the first threshold voltage Va is set to be higher as the temperature is lower. For example, the operation frequency is set to be higher as the temperature is higher, and the operation frequency is set to be lower as the temperature is lower.

    【課題】発熱又はノイズ発生等を抑制し得る充電装置及び蓄電装置を提供する。【解決手段】蓄電装置2は、充電装置10が昇降圧回路11にて電源1の電源電圧を昇圧又は降圧して蓄電部20へ出力することにより、蓄電部20を充電する。充電装置10は、蓄電部20が満充電に達したことを検知した場合に昇降圧回路11の動作を停止すると共に、蓄電部20の電圧が第1閾値電圧Va以下に低下した場合に昇降圧回路11の動作を再開して蓄電部20の充電を再開する。また充電装置10は、温度検知部22が検知した蓄電部20又はその周辺の温度を取得し、取得した温度に応じて第1閾値電圧Va及び昇降圧回路11の動作周波数を変更する。例えば温度が高いほど第1閾値電圧Vaを低く設定し、温度が低いほど第1閾値電圧Vaを高くする。例えば温度が高いほど動作周波数を高くし、温度が低いほど動作周波数を低くする。【選択図】図1
