PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tread rubber composition for a high performance tire capable of improving initial grip performance, grip performance and durability in good balance and to provide a high performance tire having a tread prepared by using the rubber composition.SOLUTION: There is provided a tread rubber composition for a high performance tire having a content of a hydrogenated styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer of 3 to 40 mass% in 100 mass% of a rubber component.

    【課題】初期グリップ性能、グリップ性能及び耐久性をバランス良く改善できる高性能タイヤ用トレッドゴム組成物、並びに該ゴム組成物を用いて作製したトレッドを有する高性能タイヤを提供する。【解決手段】ゴム成分100質量%中、水添スチレン系熱可塑性エラストマーの含有量が3〜40質量%である高性能タイヤ用トレッドゴム組成物に関する。【選択図】なし
