PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overturn prevention device that can, while a work machine with an outrigger is operating, detect with high sensitivity and reliability when the work machine starts to overturn.SOLUTION: An outrigger is composed of an external cylinder, an inner cylinder inserted into the outer cylinder from either of left and right sides of which the inner cylinder can be pushed in or pulled out, and jacks attached to the ends of the inner cylinder. A lift detection sensor S for detecting a gap (looseness) between the outer cylinder and the inner cylinder is composed of a sensor 11 for directly detecting the gap, a proximity switch 12 for activating an alarm circuit, and balance type levers 10 that can swing about a support shaft 6, in which the sensor 11 is attached to the end of a short side 14, a distance L4 of which from the support shaft 6 is short, and the proximity switch 12 is attached to the end of a long side 15, a distance L5 of which from the support shaft 6 is long. Even when a gap between the outer cylinder and the inner cylinder is small, when the work machine starts to overturn can be reliably detected by detecting the gap that is enlarged proportional to the lever length ratio (L5:L4).
【課題】アウトリガを有する作業機の作業中において、作業機の転倒しはじめを感度よく確実に検知できる転倒防止装置を提供する。【解決手段】アウトリガが、外筒と、外筒に左右両側から出し入れ自在に差し込まれた内筒と内筒の先端に取付けられたジャッキとからなる。外筒と内筒の間の隙間(ガタ)を検知する浮上り検知センサSは、隙間を直接検出する検出子11と、警報回路を作動させる近接スイッチ12と、支軸6回りに揺動する天秤型レバー10とからなり、支軸6からの距離L4が短い短辺14の端部に検出子11が取付けられ、支軸6の距離L5が長い長辺15の端部に近接スイッチ12が取付けられている。外筒と内筒の間の隙間がたとえ小さくても、レバー長比(L5:L4)に比例した大きさに拡大して検出することができ、作業機の浮きはじめを確実に検出できる。【選択図】図1
