PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension component for an automobile, which is made of an aluminum alloy having high strength enough for a forged component from an aluminum alloy cast material, and an effective method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A suspension component for an automobile, which is a forged component made of an aluminum alloy, is characterized in that the average of inverse numbers of Schmidt factors calculated from crystal orientation is 2.3 or more in a load stress direction of a maximum stress generation part when an external force is applied.
