PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper for a propeller shaft such as a propeller damper capable of easily realizing required characteristics.SOLUTION: A damper 1 for a propeller shaft including a sleeve 10 mounted on one of a torque input side and a torque output side, and an elastic body mounted integrally with an outer periphery of the sleeve 10. The elastic body is provided with a plurality of circumferential elastic projections 21, 31 kept into contact with torque transmission ribs 2 disposed on the other of the torque input side and the torque output side, and composed of a plurality of rubber elastic materials (elastic bodies 20, 30) having different materials or physical properties between a part and the other part in the axial direction.

    【課題】要求特性を容易に実現することの可能なプロペラダンパなどの推進軸用ダンパを提供する。【解決手段】トルク入力側及びトルク出力側のうち一方に取り付けられるスリーブ10と、このスリーブ10の外周に一体に設けられた弾性体を備える推進軸用ダンパ1であって、前記弾性体は、前記トルク入力側及びトルク出力側のうち他方に設けられたトルク伝達リブ2と接触される円周方向複数の弾性突起21,31が形成され、軸方向一部と他部とで材質又は物性が互いに異なる複数のゴム状弾性材料(弾性体20,30)からなる。【選択図】図1
