PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel fuel tank for construction machinery capable of exhibiting excellent rustproof effect in the vicinity of an oil filler port attached by weldment, and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: After a ring body 30 is welded to an outer surface of a filler 20, the filler 20 is subjected to rustproof surface treatment, and the ring body 30 is welded to a tank body 10. Thereby, affection of heat generated by weldment can be suppressed to minimum, so that a rustproof membrane on a surface of an oil filler port is not eliminated, and especially, in the vicinity of the oil filler port, excellent rustproof effect can be exhibited.

    【課題】特に溶接によって取り付けられる給油口付近について優れた防錆効果を発揮できる新規な建設機械の燃料タンクおよびその製造方法の提供。【解決手段】フィラー20の外面にリング体30を溶接した後、このフィラー20に防錆表面処理をしてからそのリング体30をタンク本体10に溶接する。これによって、溶接による熱の影響を最小限に抑えることが可能となるため、給油口表面の防錆膜が消失することがなくなり、特に給油口付近において優れた防錆効果を発揮することができる。【選択図】図3
