PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve drivability and suppress loss to minimum by predicting operation state of a vehicle which includes start or stop for controlling a step-up converter.SOLUTION: A control device for a battery includes a step-up converter 600 which steps up a voltage of a high voltage battery 500 and applies it to a drive motor 800, a control device 200 which obtains and analyzes image information for the outside of a vehicle that is obtained by imaging, and a control device 400 which, based on environment information about the outside of the vehicle that is obtained by analyzing the image information, predicts operation state of the vehicle that includes start or stop, and based on the predicted operation state, controls stepping up of a step-up part.

    【課題】車両の発進又は停止を含む運転状態を予知して昇圧コンバータを制御することで、ドライバビリティを向上するとともに損失を最小限に抑える。【解決手段】本発明のバッテリの制御装置は、高電圧バッテリ500の電圧を昇圧して駆動モータ800に印加する昇圧コンバータ600と、撮像により得られる車両外の画像情報を取得して分析する制御装置200と、画像情報を分析して得られる車両外の環境情報に基づいて、車両の発進又は停止を含む運転状態を予測し、予測した運転状態に基づいて、昇圧部による昇圧を制御する制御装置400と、を備える。【選択図】図1
