PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding support device capable of safely raising and lowering a wheelchair by performing stable motor control based on load from the wheelchair.SOLUTION: A riding support device 1 includes a support mechanism 11, a motor 12, a motor rotation speed detection part 13, a voltage detection part 14, and a motor control part 15. The motor control part 15 determines that failure occurs in a wheelchair 200 getting on and off a vehicle 100 if fluctuation in a voltage of a battery 103 is within a predetermined range when rotation speed of the motor 12 fluctuates while the support mechanism 11 is being driven, and performs failure avoidance control processing for avoiding the failure (Step S506). If fluctuation in a voltage of the battery 103 is out of a predetermined range, the motor 12 is driven at a duty ratio at which the rotation speed of the motor 12 becomes target rotation speed.

    【課題】車椅子からの荷重に基づいて、安定したモータ制御を行い、安全に車椅子を昇降させることができる乗車支援装置を提供する。【解決手段】乗車支援装置1は、支援機構11と、モータ12と、モータ回転数検出部13と、電圧検出部14と、モータ制御部15とを備え、モータ制御部15は、支援機構11の駆動中にモータ12の回転数が変動した場合に、バッテリ103の電圧の変動が所定範囲内であるとき、車椅子200の車両100への乗降に障害が生じたと判断して障害を回避するための障害回避制御処理を実行し(ステップS506)、バッテリ103の電圧の変動が所定範囲を外れるとき、モータ12の回転数が目標回転数となるようなデューティ比によりモータ12を駆動する。【選択図】図5
