PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a body structure for a spacecraft, which reliably protects a spacecraft body against vibrations and impacts at a launch, and which achieves significant weight saving and manufacturing cost reduction.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a body structure for a spacecraft includes: a first press step (S1) of molding a shell in the state of having a protruded piece protruded from an end surface, by heating and pressurizing a fiber-reinforced resin prepreg or semi-preg laminate by a molding tool; a joint surface forming step (S2) of forming a joint surface on the end surface of the shell by removing the protruded piece from the shell molded in the first press step; and a joining step (S5) of joining joint surfaces of the pair of shells formed in the joint surface forming step.
