PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body frame of a two-wheeled vehicle which includes a head pipe excellent in dimensional accuracy.SOLUTION: A head pipe 31 comprises a molded left head half body 45L, a molded right head half body 45R, and beads 73, 74 which integrates the right head half body 45R with the left head half body 45L by laser welding. The left head half body 45L and the right head half body 45R are joined by the first and second beads 73, 74 which are laser welding beads, and the head pipe 31 is formed. The bead width of the laser welding bead is much smaller than that of an arc-welding bead. Thus, shrinkage after solidification is much smaller. As a result, the head pipe 31 excellent in dimensional accuracy can be obtained.

    【課題】寸法精度が良好なヘッドパイプを含む二輪車の車体フレームを提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】ヘッドパイプ31は、型成形された左ヘッド半体45Lと、型成形された右ヘッド半体45Rと、左ヘッド半体45Lに右ヘッド半体45Rをレーザ溶接で一体化するビードと73、74とからなる。【効果】レーザ溶接ビードである第1・第2ビード73、74で左ヘッド半体45Lと右ヘッド半体45Rが接合されて、ヘッドパイプ31ができあがる。レーザ溶接ビードは、アーク溶接ビードに比較して、ビード幅が格段に小さい。そのため、凝固後の収縮が格段に小さい。結果、寸法精度がよい、ヘッドパイプ31が得られる。【選択図】図11
