PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery boosting device capable of properly supplying power to electric loads during an idling stop according to a battery state.SOLUTION: A battery boosting device 100 is connected to a power feed path between a battery 10, an alternator 12 and electric loads 21 to 24. The battery boosting device 100 includes: a boosting circuit 110; a boosting circuit control section 120; an individual load control section 130; and a bypass switch 140. In the boosting circuit control section 120, discharge capacity SOF of the battery 10 is calculated in advance. When engine restarting is started during an idling stop, the SOF is compared with a boosting operation threshold so as to properly operates the boosting circuit 110. When the SOF is lower than a discharge limit threshold, power boosted in the boosting circuit 110 is supplied to only the electric loads having high importance.

    【課題】アイドリングストップ時の電気負荷への電力供給をバッテリ状態に応じて適切に行うことができるバッテリ昇圧装置を提供する。【解決手段】バッテリ昇圧装置100は、バッテリ10及びオルタネータ12と電気負荷21〜24との間の給電経路に接続され、昇圧回路110、昇圧回路制御部120、個別負荷制御部130、及びバイパススイッチ140を備えている。昇圧回路制御部120において、バッテリ10の放電能力SOFをあらかじめ算出しておき、アイドリングストップ時にエンジン再始動が開始されると、SOFを昇圧作動閾値と比較することで昇圧回路110を適切に作動させる。また、SOFが放電限界閾値より低いときは、重要度の高い電気負荷のみに昇圧回路110で昇圧された電力を供給する。【選択図】図1
