PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid electric vehicle control system capable of preventing the excessive output voltage from a step-up converter even at a time of slip detection and preventing the degradation of engine startability.SOLUTION: A control system 12 of a hybrid electric vehicle 10 comprises: an engine 20; a second MG 24 serving as a travel motor; a first MG 22 serving as a generator; and an ECU 32 serving as a control unit that controls a step-up operation performed by a step-up converter 46 connected between a battery 28 serving as a power storage unit, and the first and second MG 22 and 24. The ECU 32 controls the step-up converter 46 to increase a target output voltage of the step-up converter 46 from an output voltage before slip detection or to keep the target output voltage equal to the output voltage before the slip detection if the slip of driving wheels 18 is detected and the hybrid electric vehicle 10 is in an EV travel mode for allowing the vehicle 10 to travel by driving the second MG 24 while stopping the engine 20.

    【課題】ハイブリッド車両の制御システムにおいて、スリップ検出時でも昇圧コンバータの出力電圧が過大になることを防止し、かつ、エンジンの始動性の低下を防止することである。【解決手段】ハイブリッド車両10の制御システム12は、エンジン20、走行モータである第2MG24、及び発電機である第1MG22と、車両の走行状態に応じて、蓄電部であるバッテリ28と第2MG24及び第1MG22との間に接続された昇圧コンバータ46の昇圧動作を制御する制御装置であるECU32とを含む。ECU32は、駆動輪18のスリップが検出された場合で、かつ、エンジン20の停止状態で第2MG24を駆動して車両走行を行うEV走行中である場合に、スリップ検出前に対して昇圧コンバータ46の目標出力電圧が上昇されるか、または同じ大きさに維持されるように、昇圧コンバータ46を制御する。【選択図】図1
