PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a structure, which can prevent upward or downward movement of a steering column at the time of secondary collision, while suppressing increase of number of components thereof.SOLUTION: A plate spring 24 is attached to an outside surface of one support plate part 20a which constitutes a support bracket 18a. The floating parts 43a, 43b of the plate spring 24, which become the state such that the floating parts are floated from said one support plate part 20a in a free state, are provided with plural engaging holes 39, 39 which have intervals therebetween in a vertical direction. An inside surface of a driven side cam 32, which constitutes a cam mechanism 23, is provided with plural engaging salients 45, 45 which can be engaged with respective engaging holes 39, 39. On the basis of mechanical engagement between respective engaging holes 39, 39 and respective engaging salients 45, 45, upward or downward movement of a steering column at the time of secondary collision.
【課題】二次衝突時のステアリングコラムの上方又は下方への移動を防止できる構造を、部品点数の増大を抑えつつ、実現する。【解決手段】支持ブラケット18aを構成する一方の支持板部20aの外側面に、板ばね24を取り付ける。この板ばね24のうち、自由状態でこの一方の支持板部20aの外側面から浮き上がった状態となる浮上部43a、43bに、上下方向に間隔をあけて複数の係合孔39、39を設ける。カム装置23を構成する被駆動側カム32の内側面に、これら各係合孔39、39に係合可能な複数の係合凸部45、45を設ける。これら各係合孔39、39とこれら各係合凸部45、45との機械的係合に基づいて、二次衝突時のステアリングコラムの上方又は下方への移動を防止する。【選択図】図3
