PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a changeover time to an N-range of a range changeover mechanism while securing the responsiveness of changeover to a range other than the N-range.SOLUTION: In the case where a requested range signal outputted from a range selector is switched to an N-range signal, an SBW-ECU switches a target range to an N-range when the N-range signal is continued for an N-range determination time or longer. At this time, when a current range is a D-range, or a vehicle speed is a prescribed value or higher, the SBW-ECU determines that a possibility that the responsiveness of changeover to a range other than the N-range is lowered is high if the N-range determination time is shortened, and sets the N-range determination time to a normal value. On the other and, when the current range is the D-range, and the vehicle speed is the prescribed value or higher, the SBW-ECU determines that the possibility that the responsiveness of the changeover to the range other than the N-range is lowered is low even if the N-range determination time is shortened, and sets the N-range determination time to a value shorter than the normal value.

    【課題】レンジ切換機構のNレンジ以外のレンジへの切り換えの応答性を確保しながら、Nレンジへの切換時間を短縮化できるようにする。【解決手段】SBW−ECUは、レンジセレクタから出力される要求レンジ信号がNレンジ信号に切り換わった場合に、Nレンジ信号がNレンジ判定時間以上継続したときに目標レンジをNレンジに切り換える。その際、現在レンジがDレンジのときや車速が所定値以上のときには、Nレンジ判定時間を短くするとNレンジ以外のレンジへの切り換えの応答性が低下する可能性が高いと判断して、Nレンジ判定時間を通常値に設定する。一方、現在レンジがDレンジで且つ車速が所定値以上のときには、Nレンジ判定時間を短くしてもNレンジ以外のレンジへの切り換えの応答性が低下する可能性が低いと判断して、Nレンジ判定時間を通常値よりも短い値に設定する。【選択図】図7
