PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical joint capable of preventing a shaft member from being completely separated from a holding member even if a ball of a shaft member is released from a holding portion of the holding member, and ensuring safety in use even in a high load environment.SOLUTION: A spherical joint 1 comprises: a spherical slide bearing 20 including a ball 21 having a spherical surface 21c formed between a pair of flat end surfaces 21a and 21b parallel to each other and having a shaft insertion hole 22 formed to penetrate the ball 21 between the end surfaces 21a and 21b, and a race 25 having a ball holding hole 26 formed therein for rotatably holding the ball 21; a rod end body (housing) 10 including a through-hole 13 to which the race 25 is fixed; and a shaft 30 including a head portion 32 provided on one end side, inserted into the shaft insertion hole 22 of the ball 21 from the other end side, and penetrating the through-hole 13, a first collar (shaft retaining portion) 50 including a flange 51 larger in cross-section than the ball holding hole 26 formed in an end surface of the race 25 being provided on one end side of the shaft 30.
