PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique enabling display methods to be switched depending on reliability of a current position of a user.SOLUTION: A traveling direction display system comprises: route information acquisition means which acquires route information showing a route to a destination; traveling direction acquisition means which acquires a traveling direction at a guide object intersection on the basis of the route information; reliability acquisition means which acquires reliability of a current position; and display control means which selects either a simple display method or a detailed display method on the basis of the reliability and displays a traveling direction at the guide object intersection through the selected display method on a display section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
