PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prevent the fitting from being loosened with a simple structure when a vehicle mounted housing is attached to a separate body.SOLUTION: A vehicle mounted housing 1 includes: a first housing member 10 having a first wall part 12; and a second housing member 20 having a second bottom part 21 and a second wall part 22 erected in a periphery part of the second bottom part. The second wall part fits in an inner side of the first wall part. The second wall part includes: an engaging part 221 located on an outer surface; and a contact prevention part 222 located between the engaging part and the second bottom part. The first wall part has a tongue part 121 having an engaged part 122 which engages with the engaging part. The contact prevention part is positioned between the tongue part and the second bottom part when the engaging part engages with the engaged part. Further, a height H of the contact prevention part from the second wall part is substantially the same with a height of the tongue part from the second wall part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
