PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether or not a train has moved when a power source of an on-vehicle device is turned off, determine whether a train position, which is stored when the power source is turned on, is valid or invalid, and achieve power saving.SOLUTION: A train movement detection system comprises: a velocity sensor 12; an on-vehicle device 11 for detecting a position of a train based on information from a ground unit and information from the velocity sensor 12; and a train movement detection device 13 for detecting whether or not the train has moved. The train movement detection device 13 comprises: a train movement determination part 22 for comparing the information acquired from the velocity sensor 12 and information stored in advance, when a power source of the on-vehicle device 11 is turned off, and determining based on a comparison result whether or not the train has moved; and a power source management part 21 for turning off the power source of the train movement detection device 13 when the train movement determination part 22 determines that the train has moved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車上装置の電源がOFFの際に列車が移動したか否かを判断し、当該電源がONの時に記憶していた列車位置が有効か無効かを判断可能であり且つ省電力化を達成する。【解決手段】速度センサ12と、地上子からの情報と速度センサ12からの情報により列車の位置を検出する車上装置11と、前記列車の移動の有無を検知する列車移動検知装置13を備え、列車移動検知装置13は、車上装置11の電源がOFF状態である際に、速度センサ12から取得した情報と、予め記憶された情報とを比較し、当該比較結果に基づいて前記列車の移動の有無を判断する列車移動判定部22と、列車移動判定部22が、前記列車が移動したと判断した際に、列車移動検知装置13の電源をOFF状態にする電源管理部21を備えている。【選択図】図1
